Adventures in knitting land...

So my first project was far far too ambitious, and it got waylaid for another scarf in the middle then was finished (kinda) just in time for Christmas.

 I learned my first scarf should not have been 50 stitches wide if I wanted to finish it in under a month, and also that while color changes are neat, that I should have planned a bit better in advance!

They were both loads of fun and I cant wait to start my next project!

These are the first far too ambitious project it ended up about a foot shorter than I wanted (this will be a theme lol)

These are the second project, also about a foot shorter than planned, I had wanted to add another knot in the middle so there would be three swoopy parts, but ran out of time oops!

I have this odd enjoyment of the fact that my cat cant commit enough to being petted so she balances precariously on my leg and waits for the petting, instead of heading for the lap because she just knows that there is going to be something furry or shiny or noisy in a second and then there will be chasing.
